Wello’s Water Wheel

Wello is a social venture with an ambitious goal: To deliver clean water to a thirsty world. Their mission is to design and deliver affordable innovations that save time and increase opportunities for people who lack access to water. They specialize in designing products that people not only need, but want to use.

Project Description

Wello is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. In the past, they successfully built a strong presence working toward their cause within the international NGO industry via media coverage and TED conferences. This lead to the creation of a product – the Water Wheel. They needed help to supplement gain more visability to investors. I helped to develop a design that utilized custom coding to create a more editorial layout with interactive content.

Using a bootstrap frame, we were able to maintain our editorial design along with a cross platform, mobile-friendly usability. We custom built a toggle widget that allowed information to be “tucked away” allowing both the image and the content to coexist in an interactive way.
